Geocaching is an increasingly popular, inclusive and fun activity for individuals of all ages. It’s a great motivator to get outside and do some exploring, get some and learn something new about a place you might otherwise never visit.
This activity is an outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. For the old-fashioned ones, the treasure hunting game can be carried out using the old good paper map.
For the Invisible Boundaries Project, we are delighted to offer a Geocache activity in which participants will have the opportunity to go around the Arboretum Park with a map and/or GPS devices to discover curious facts surrounding the park hidden in small containers.
